Jennifer Aniston Skincare Secrets and Routine

I always try to sleep for at least eight hours a night and, of course, water, water, water! I drink 100 ounces of Smartwater every day. But occasionally I just have to have a Diet Coke—there’s nothing like it!

I’m very particular about what I put on my face and body, and have been using Aveeno for years.

It’s [chemical peels] extremely intense… you look like a battered burn victim for a week. The dead skin on your face just kind of falls off for eight days.

I put this [Dr. Hauschka Moisturizing Day Cream] on after my serum and before my makeup.

I’ve been using this orange bar [Neutrogena’s Original Facial Cleansing Bar] since high school. My philosophy is, the simpler the better.

I’ve started getting those little sun spots. Things are beginning to pop out. Even the texture [of my skin] is changing. So I’ve recently started zapping the spots and getting spray tans whenever I can. And I’ve graduated to using SPF 60 sunblock when I’m on the beach.

It took me years of peeling back the onion to finally stop using makeup as a mask and feel comfortable in my own skin.

I’ve used this fig liner [Estee Lauder Automatic Lip Pencil Duo in Fig] for god knows how many years. You can mix anything with it.

When I’m not working, I use a bit of bronzer to brighten up my cheeks. It’s [Chanel Moisturizing Bronzing Powder in Terre Amber] not orangey! I like that it’s more brown, with twinkles in it.

It’s [Benefit Hello Flawless Custom Powder Cover-Up] a pressed powder and cover-up in one. I use it as a spot concealer, and at the end to finish off the look.

I got this [Mila Moursi Rejuvenating Serum] from my facialist Mila Moursi. She’s amazing, I use it every day.

I start with a bottle of Smartwater in the morning, Aniston says. I carry one with me all day, and at night I drink a tall glass.

Hydration — drink a lot of water — and get your sleep.

Jennifer Aniston Hair Secrets and Routine

I love Chris [McMillan, her hairstylist], and he’s the bane of my existence at the same time because he started that damn Rachel, which was not my best look.

Nothing destroys your hair faster than extensions. It’s taken a year and a half to get my hair grown out.

After using these products, I felt like I finally discovered a solution that works every day. I could not be more excited to share Living Proof with the world.

Jennifer Aniston Diet Secrets and Routine

I stopped dieting when I figured out that you just have to eat regularly and properly within moderation. The fads are too much. I think it’s really about – honestly, this is going to sound silly – going in the sun for 20 minutes a day is really important, vitamin D, because we are now having a vitamin D deficiency because of all the SPF. And I think being happy and smiling and laughing a lot.

…I’ve just started to really love lately is Brussel sprouts. Usually, Brussel sprouts smell like feet to me. But these were sliced and sautéed and really yummy. I’m going to make that.

I love white peaches, when they’re in season, with a piece of string cheese.

…my not-so-healthy snack is chips and guacamole with a margarita.

Jennifer Aniston Fitness Secrets and Routine

I noticed dramatic changes in my body after I started doing yoga, but I also think you have to shake things up.

I have a Spin bike, an elliptical, and a treadmill, and I do cardio for at least 20 minutes a day. Even that short burst makes a difference.

The best quick sweat for me is getting on the Spin bike. I can take it uphill, I can take it downhill, I can sprint. And it’s great when I need to make phone calls. I put on what I call my Janet Jackson headpiece, and I’m set.

It’s important to rest the body. I can go a whole week saying, ‘I’m not going to work out.’ Your body will tell you what it needs.

I do it [Yoga] every other day and I usually do some sort of run before.

I listen to Lady Gaga’s ‘Paparazzi‘ and ‘Just Dance‘ when I Spin, and the band 1 Giant Leap during yoga.

I work out almost every day, at least five or six days a week.

I do 40 minutes of cardio: spinning, running, the elliptical, or a combination of all three. Then I do Pilates one day a week, and I do yoga in addition to that, three days a week. I try to mix it up.

I take 8 pound weights with me whenever I’m staying in a hotel. It’s always good to do arm exercises when you’re watching television or talking on the phone. I also love to stretch before I go to bed, and usually throw in a couple of sit-ups.
