Kate Beckinsale Skincare Secrets and Routine

I start my mornings by putting a hot towel with a little lavender sprinkled on it over my face.

I’m so into sunscreen. I can’t even tell you how important it is for skin that’s aging.

My skin is particularly dry, so I make a point of drinking lots of water.

I use… Clean & Clear facial cleanser… and then applied that very expensive Natura Bisse Diamond cream.

I use gallons of Creme de la Mer body lotion.

I don’t roll out of bed like this. It takes a village. I tend to wake up looking like Steven Tyler, then somebody comes to help.

I love Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturizer, which always gives me a good base.

MAC’s eyeshadow in Vanilla and Wedge are also a permanent fixture in my make-up bag.I don’t tend to do much with my lips. My lips are naturally very pink, so if I add any more color, it looks like I’ve been smacked in the mouth.

My daily diet is eggs or oatmeal for breakfast, a chicken or vegetable wrap for lunch, then fish and vegetables for dinner.

I think I’ve done my fair share of dieting. I’m entirely normal. I have my good days and my bad days. I am a lot more body confident now I’m in my 30s, and am in better shape, too.

I try to take lots of vitamins and I don’t drink. I do smoke, however, I’d be insufferable if I didn’t, I’d be so boring you’d have to push me off a balcony!

I exercise 4 times a week.

I go to the gym when I have to, and if I have to bulk up or slim down for a film, I will.

I’ve recently got back into exercising four times a week. I run for half an hour at a time but never outdoors, as I don’t exercise in public. My gym’s in my garage at home.

I love to do yoga and I force my husband to take hikes with me. It’s about doing something every single day that’s fun and good for you.

Yoga also gives you a good reason to relax at the end of the session by just lying down for a couple of minutes.

I really don’t like exercising that much. That’s why I mix up my work outs, so I don’t get bored. I do have my own gym at home, so that makes it easier.

I have to be dragged to the gym because I hated PE at school and would much prefer to sit down and smoke a cigarette. I don’t take growth hormone pills or do eight hours of yoga a day or anything like that.

Seriously, I don’t love going to the gym, but I do think it’s one of those things you have to do, especially if one wants to work in this town.

I never thought that [yoga fanatic] would be me, but I do feel a lot better (for doing yoga ]. And a happy side effect is that it lifts my bottom.
