Kim Kardashian Skincare Secrets and Routine

My most essential product has got to be Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes in Night Calming. I need a makeup wipe at all times. That’s the only way I take my makeup off.

I’m a big believer in simple products and I always make sure I cleanse, tone and moisturize religiously every day. I love a foamy cleanser it makes me feel super-clean.

It [Bio-Oil] prevents wrinkles around my eyes and stretchmarks over my body.

I’m obsessed with my nails. I get them done once or twice a week because it makes me feel clean. My favorite color right now: OPI’s Midnight in Moscow.

I think the most important thing is getting sleep. I know that sounds really boring but I can see such a difference in my face when I’ve had a lot of sleep.

…I just love to take care of my skin. Sunscreen I use on my hands and face and neck every single day.

I’m like, girls, you should go get a Fraxel laser on your face. I’m really open about telling all my friends and my sisters what the best treatments are.

Caress Evenly Gorgeous Exfoliating Body Wash, which has burnt brown sugar and karite butter—it smells so good you’ll want to eat it.

…I think when you’re young there are other ways you can look after your skin, and some amazing products on the market, like Fusion Beauty’s Illumifill, that help keep you looking young and beautiful.

To get a fresh-faced look use a moisturizing foundation that blends in well with the color of your skin. Look for creamy blushes in warm pink and peachy tones. For your eyes, try a clean sweep of a bright and light shimmery shadow and add a slight edge with a thin black line of pencil or liquid. You can keep the lips natural with a tinted lip balm, or add a splash of color to your clean look with an orange or red lipstick!

I powder under my eyes, so you can see the white powder, then brush it off.

I layer mascaras… specifically, Lancôme Doll Lashes and M.A.C. Zoom Fast Black Lash mascara.

I put on all my foundation first. I powder my face, then I put on concealer…and blend it with a pink egglike sponge, the BeautyBlender. Then I contour… I go cheekbones, under chin, then the top. I love Smashbox Bronze Lights in Suntan Matte because it doesn’t have sparkle in it.

When I want a soft summer glow my makeup artist uses a bronzing powder on the cheek bones and up around the hairline to define the face and give that all around glow that I love!

Right before I start getting ready, I spray my perfume all over me before I put my clothes on.

…my lashes are real! It runs in my family, my brother has the longest lashes. But I’m also a big fan of wearing fake lashes for shoots and big events. The key to making your own lashes look super long is to apply different mascaras and take your time. My favorites are Lancôme Hynose and M.A.C. Zoom Lash.

I love getting ready, it’s so much fun! I always style my hair first then pin it back while I do my makeup. Before I apply my foundation I sprinkle Bare Escentuals shimmer powder on my face to get a pretty glow.

Using make up wipes to take off my makeup. Best invention ever!

[Favorite beauty products are] M.A.C. Zoom Lash Mascara…, Givenchy Lady Pulp Lip Gloss in Lady Beige, Benefit Lemon Aid [and] Givenchy Luminous Cheek Powder in Pink/Orange.

I felt like going for a brighter lip so we used this fabulous vibrant red from Khroma Beauty! I love a nude lip, but it’s fun to switch it up every now and then.

Right now I’m loving my red nails for fall, and I’ve been wearing our Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolor Kourt is Red-Y for a Pedi! It’s bright and classic and adds a pop of color to my fall looks.

I think eyebrows are an essential part of creating a look When it comes to beauty and makeup,… they frame your face and create a focal point, so it’s important that you make the most of your natural shape and accentuate your brows for full effect! If you want a softer look, use a powder that matches the color of your eyebrows and use an angled brush to achieve the right look. Or you can use a soft pencil on your brows. Just find the color that closely matches your brow, or even one a shade lighter, or darker than your brows if you want to create the illusion of lighter or darker brows, pencil in the shape and fill in. You can then set the brows with a clear eyebrow gel and voila!

I use Moroccanoil and Carol’s Daughter Monoi Hair Mask. They make your hair so soft.

My hair tricks are that I don’t wash it every day, which helps it shine. I also switch up what shampoo I use all the time.

I have bad hair days all the time. When it’s flat and has no volume I usually just put it in a ponytail.

I love when my hair is slicked back in a bun and my make up shows off the lashes. Pure glamour!

I use Finesse shampoo.

When I want to pin my hair out of my face, but I don’t want that dent that you get in your hair when you pin it, I just put a piece of tissue in it so it doesn’t crease! It’s a great trick to know for when you do your makeup.

I love the look of a loose, messy, seemingly effortless hair style with neat makeup. What’s ironic is that it’s the messy hair looks that often take the longest to perfect!

Of course, I struggle with insecure moments. I wish I didn’t. But I love to eat! Especially sweets. And I’ll say it, I think my thighs are jiggly and I have cellulite. Now let’s move on! Because when I put the time in at the gym, I’m confident. You have to feel good to look good.

Don’t beat yourself up, but stay focused, we all gain a few pounds here or there during the holidays, and that’s fine. But get back into your regular lifestyle and focus on eating healthier and limiting your ‘treats’…

Drink more water. You’d be surprised the difference drinking more water can make to your weight loss mission and workouts. Most of us don’t drink enough… 2.2 litres (about 9 cups) per day of water is what you should be drinking, so strive for that.

For me, it’s never been about starving myself. I want to be fit for the long term. That’s why I’ve never even tried a cigarette in my life. I only started to drink last year when I turned 30. I occasionally have a Midori sour but I’m not a big drinker. I can have fun without it.

I finally said enough with the junk food. These days I prefer salads with grilled chicken or turkey burgers without the bun.

I also try to not eat any white carbs. I still eat carbs but just the good carbs.

I just try and figure out new ways to keep my workouts exciting. It does tend to be boring when you do the same thing over and over again.

On days when I need extra motivation, I just think, Bikini, bikini, bikini!

If I don’t start my day working out, I feel so lazy. Even if I have a 15 hour a day, working out makes me feel so accomplished. And I like to do it in the morning.

My workout is the one time I can disconnect. It’s the best feeling! When I see people on the phone at the gym, I want to tell them, ‘This is your hour to be selfish. Take it!

I exercise every day. I’m in the best shape of my life. Of course, I’m a perfectionist, so there’s always room for improvement.

I just want to feel my best. I want to be confident. I want not to feel insecure. And, of course, if you take care of yourself, you’ll live longer. It’s not only about body image. It’s also about feeling good. When I workout, I feel good.

I lift weights with my trainer, Gunnar Peterson, in the morning three days a week. After working out, I see a difference in my butt and thighs, and my clothes fit a little differently, too. I’m also really proud of how toned my arms are.

The best way to get motivated is to find a friend to workout with you. Kourtney is my workout buddy right now. Ask a friend or relative if they want to work out together.

My reality is never going to be stick-skinny. Gwyneth Paltrow’s trainer, Tracy Anderson, designed a workout for me, so I follow that and eat healthily.

If I don’t feel confident about my body, I’m not going to sit at home and feel sorry for myself and not do something about it. It’s all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it’s fitness or whatever. It’s all about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.

Tracy Anderson is keeping me in shape! She is helping me make the adjustments necessary to keep me feeling happy, healthy and most importantly create a workout plan that is safe for the baby. It’s really important for me to have a fitness routine that works for my body and my schedule and I’m really happy with the workout plan Tracy is working with me on.

An exercise that I’ve been doing every day that’s really been helping and no gym equipment is needed is… Get a chair or even go near your couch and make sure nothing is in front of it so you can stand right in front of it and act as if you are going to sit down but don’t actually sit! Just lightly touch your booty on it and come back up. Do that seven times! Then do the same thing but this time only half way, come back up and do that seven times. Then do it one more time but when you go to sit down and come back up, only come up about an inch up off the chair! So each time you go lower and lower! Once you finished your lucky 21, take a break and try it again. I try to do that cycle four times.
