Miranda Kerr Skincare Secrets and Routine

[My favorite beauty treatment] I would have to say oxygen facials.

Do not underestimate the importance of organic rose hip oil and eye gel …rose hip oil… it’s full of that many antioxidants and it really works on a cellular level too to rejuvenate the skin. I can’t live without my Rosehip Oil. I use it as an intensive nourishing face treatment, to remove eye makeup, as a cuticle treatment, and I add a few drops to my face cream every night so I wake up with a brighter complexion. It’s also a rich source of antioxidants and helps counteract environmental damage

Every morning… I stand by the simplicity of the three-step process: cleanse, mist, and moisturize. I do that twice a day, so I always pack Kora Organics Foaming Cleanser, Energizing Citrus Mist, and the Hydrating Day and Night Cream.

I am also addicted to using a body brush day at night and smothering my body with body lotion. It’s a dry brush, you can get it from the health food store and you brush your body with it. It makes your skin super smooth.

I personally take four tablespoons of coconut oil per day, either on my salads, in my cooking or in my cups of green tea. I will not go a day without coconut oil.

I love sandalwood essential oil [as a de-stresser].

[At night] I’ll put like the purifying mask down the middle and the hydrating around the outside so that you have a glow.

I also keep a body brush with me when traveling. Dry body brushing every morning is a great way to get the circulation going, get rid of dead skin cells, aid in lymphatic drainage, detoxify your system, and keep your skin smooth all over.

[In my beauty bag] KORA organics citrus mist ,RMS Living Luminiser, KORA Organics tinted moisturiser.

If you lose your eyelash curler you can curl your lashes with the back of a teaspoon.

I really love a red lip, especially when I am feeling tired, as it brightens my whole face. Victoria’s Secret makes a red lipstick called Showstopper that is absolutely perfect.

Miranda Kerr Hair Secrets and Routine

There is a line called ONM. I really like it [for my hair].

Miranda Kerr Diet Secrets and Routine

I drink warm water with a squeeze of lemon first thing in the morning and lots of purified water throughout the day. I follow this with a green power smoothie that is alkalizing, nutrient dense, and high in vitamins and minerals for maximum energy and vitality — I have Sun Warrior Protein, its rice protein generally —  add in spirulina, chlorella, wheatgrass, maca root [powder], and chia seeds.

Maca powder has been around for a long time. It’s a super food and its really good for the hormone levels, really good to add energy and stamina.

I’ve been drinking it (noni juice) since I was 14, and when I’ve got a long day ahead of me, it’s the one thing I can’t live without.

[For snacking] I like to always have almonds, like raw almonds. Golgi berries are really good. Seaweed. Oh, and sometimes you can mix Chia seeds with a little water [and] you can add some agave [or coconut] in their if you like. It’s really healthy.

I live by the philosophy that beauty starts from within and I make conscious effort to fill my body with nutrients through the food I eat.

I love food and enjoy eating fresh organic produce.

Miranda Kerr Fitness Secrets and Routine

About 5 times per week I do yoga, I love it.

I do pilates, I’ve really gotten into pilates now.

A lot of squats! And sometimes I hold Flynn [my son] and then I stand up and sit down, stand up and sit down. He’a s really good weight.

I make sure I do half an hour of yoga in the morning so that then I’m feeling good.

As a child I was very active. I was a gymnast, I played touch football, netball and basketball. When I was 16 years old I started yoga. I started working out at an early age.

I exercise three or four times a week—Pilates and resistance training for core strength with Justin Gelband in New York —and I see Andie Hecker at Ballet Bodies in L.A. I also enjoy yoga for a full-body workout.

I exercise most days leading up to a show, and focus on resistance training and lots of squats.

I also try to practice yoga or Pilate, even if it’s only for 20 minutes each day to improve my overall core strength.

I keep my exercise diverse and I like to mix things up . . . but of course my favorite way to stay in shape is running around after [my son] Flynn! He’s a busy little boy at the moment.
