I don’t mind being pale. In high school, it seemed like everybody cared about being tanned all year round, but I haven’t really thought about it since then. I don’t go to a tanning bed, and I get bored when I lay out. I put sunscreen on when I’m in the sun and sometimes I get tan, but I don’t really think about it very much.

I use whatever is around, really. I’ll go to the drugstore and just get makeup removal pads, facial scrubs (that I always forget to use).The one thing I do daily is a put on night cream every morning before I put on my make up, and at night before I go to bed.

[I also love] Kate Somerville moisturizer. But any kind of moisturizer that you put on before you go to bed will make your skin softer.

There are tricks I’ve learned from makeup artists on shoots. They put on the red lipstick, then blot it with a tissue, then they put powder over the tissue and sort of press it onto your lips. Then re-apply. It turns it into a stain that lasts much longer!

My everyday essentials are eyeliner, lipstick and mascara.I’m careful not to get red lipstick on my teeth.

The bargain product I love is The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter. I love that it makes me feel like I’m on a tropical island.

If you have really light eyes like I do, a variety of eyeliners are a must! Just using a simple liner pencil is a quick and easy way to highlight your eyes, and you can play around with crazy colors for a fun look. I like black mascara because it makes my eyes look more dramatic…just make sure it’s waterproof.

I wear a million different fragrances, so it just depends on what I randomly pick, but I really like Lollia and Gwen Stefani’s perfumes.

My hair is naturally curly so some days I just let it be. But when I wake up and my hair looks like a mess, I curl my hair by wrapping the hair around the curling iron to create a spiral look.

I don’t use any hair products because I have this fear of putting too much mousse in it or something and my hair ending up feeling crunchy.

I love having my hair and make-up done because it makes me look like a better version of myself. I love experimenting.

For shows and events, I’ll recurl pieces with a spiral curling iron [3/4-inch] so my hair looks smoother.

During the week, I try to eat healthily, so that means salads, yogurt, and sandwiches, no sugary drinks. I try to keep it lighter, but it’s nothing too regimented or crazy.

[On the weekends] I allow myself to eat what I know from common sense is bad for me. I like comfort foods. I love a burger and fries, I love ice cream so much, and I love baking cookies. Actually, I love baking anything.

I’m never cutting out what I love, which is Starbucks [Skinny Vanilla Lattes on weekdays and Pumpkin Lattes on weekend].

I have a need to feel like I’ve earned things, so when I have a week of working really hard, I get to have a day or two off –whether it’s from exercise or watching what I eat.

I drink so much water my friends call me an alien.

The one indulgence that I allow myself is food. I just love food. I can’t do crazy birdseed diet stuff. I like to eat a lot, so I exercise a lot. I try to really balance it.

[I’m addicted to Starbucks flavoured lattes] but I try to eat a lot in the beginning of the day and not so much at the end. Snacks come and go.

I don’t care about losing weight as much as feeling good about myself. You can’t indulge without exercising, so I exercise because I love eating and I don’t want to have to live without anything.

For me, running is about blasting a whole bunch of new songs and running to the beat. It’s also good because it makes me find a gym wherever I am.

I don’t like any kind of exercise other than running. And I love that because it’s about the music.

There’s no regimen  There’s no personal trainer. I love to go hiking because its an experience. If I need to gain stamina for a tour I’ll go running every single night on the treadmill, but I don’t necessarily like being at the gym.

I try to exercise a lot. I like to feel really tired afterward, sweaty and disgusting.

I also exercise because on the occasional days when I’m feeling low, it always makes me feel better.
